Job Summary

Macquarie is seeking an Accounting Analyst to join its Commodities and Global Markets Finance team.

The successful candidate will support accounting operations, financial reconciliation activities, month-end close processes, reporting requirements, and stakeholder engagement while helping ensure the accuracy of financial records.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Perform account reconciliations and balance reviews

✅ Support month-end close activities

✅ Investigate and resolve accounting issues

✅ Review financial data and ledger postings

✅ Collaborate with business teams and external stakeholders

✅ Maintain reporting accuracy and compliance

Requirements

✅ 3–7 years of accounting or reconciliation experience

✅ Experience with ledger reporting and balance attestation

✅ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

✅ Knowledge of financial products and accounting processes

✅ Ability to manage issues independently and escalate when necessary

✅ Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
