Position Overview

Kickstart your overnight leadership career with Bashas’. Our Carefree location is looking for a motivated Night Operations Team Lead to manage night crew activities and ensure the store is fully stocked, organized, and ready for customers each morning.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working nights, leading a team, and keeping operations running smoothly behind the scenes.

What You Will Do

• Supervise and motivate the overnight crew to meet daily stocking and service targets.
• Coordinate with Store Director and Merchandising Manager to execute nightly plans.
• Place and manage orders for grocery, non-food items, HBC, frozen, and liquor departments.
• Ensure all general merchandise is stocked, faced, and merchandised to brand standards.
• Create visually appealing displays on the sales floor, aisles, and front-end.
• Welcome and assist customers, providing product recommendations and excellent service.
• Handle inbound freight – unload trucks, check-in product, and organize inventory in warehouse and coolers.
• Verify accurate pricing, signage, and product tagging across departments.
• Uphold cleanliness and safety standards in all work areas and warehouse.
• Rotate perishable products and monitor quality to meet food safety standards.

Physical & Work Requirements

Must be comfortable with standing, walking, bending, pushing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and using computers and phones throughout an extended overnight shift.

Requirements

• Minimum age 18 years. Age 21+ required for roles handling alcohol.
• Customer-friendly attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
• Leadership or retail stocking experience is an advantage.

For internal candidates: Leader recommendation is required, part-time placement may be offered based on availability, and rehires need HRBP approval.
