Job Summary

UPS is seeking a Distribution Manager II to lead and oversee customer operations within its Global Logistics and Distribution division.

The successful candidate will be responsible for directing operations across multiple facilities, ensuring efficient inventory management, maintaining customer satisfaction, meeting contractual obligations, and achieving operational and financial goals.

This role involves leadership, strategic planning, client relationship management, process improvement, and day-to-day operational oversight.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Develop and monitor operational goals and plans

✅ Coordinate with multiple departments to improve efficiency

✅ Manage operations to meet customer deadlines

✅ Oversee budgeting, financial administration, and staff management

✅ Develop and execute customer account plans

✅ Resolve operational and customer-related challenges

✅ Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders

✅ Lead facility operations and support continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

✅ Strong communication and interpersonal skills

✅ Experience managing customer relationships

✅ Ability to influence outcomes and resolve operational issues

✅ Experience supporting production-critical operations

✅ Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment

✅ Leadership and staff management experience

✅ Strong problem-solving skills

✅ Experience within logistics or distribution environments is preferred

✅ Bachelor’s Degree or international equivalent is preferred

Additional Requirements

✅ Job Grade: 30C

✅ Candidate must be located within the geographic area of the position or be willing to relocate

✅ Monday to Friday schedule

✅ Working hours: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM

✅ Schedule flexibility may be required based on business needs

✅ Must be authorized to work in the United States
