Opportunity Summary
Applications are now open for the NSF Institute for Artificial Intelligence and Fundamental Interactions (IAIFI) Fellowship 2027–2030.
IAIFI is one of the inaugural National Science Foundation Artificial Intelligence Research Institutes focused on advancing foundational AI while enabling groundbreaking discoveries in physics and related scientific fields.
The fellowship seeks talented early-career researchers interested in building innovative collaborations across artificial intelligence, theoretical physics, astrophysics, experimental physics, and computational sciences.
Selected fellows will contribute to interdisciplinary research projects while helping bridge the gap between AI innovation and scientific discovery.
