Job Summary

UFP Industries is seeking a Production Manager Trainee to develop hands-on knowledge of manufacturing operations, production planning, process improvement, and plant management.

The trainee will work closely with experienced leaders while learning production operations, budgeting, safety processes, workforce management, and business systems.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Learn manufacturing and plant operations

✅ Support production scheduling and planning

✅ Develop knowledge of product costing and budgeting

✅ Assist with process improvement initiatives

✅ Learn safety and efficiency standards

✅ Support administrative and operational functions

Requirements

✅ Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field

OR

✅ Equivalent work experience

✅ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

✅ Strong organizational and communication skills

✅ Interest in manufacturing and operations management

✅ Ability to learn and work in a team environment
